Rachel is a passionate dance teacher who studied dance at Virginia Regional Ballet in Williamsburg, VA, and Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA with training in ballet, pointe, variations, character, modern, jazz, lyrical, and ballroom. Rachel received intensive training with Boston Ballet, Richmond Ballet, Chamber Ballet, and Virginia Regional Ballet. She was also accepted in Summer Intensive Seminars with American Ballet Theatre, and the Kirov Ballet in Washington DC. In addition, Rachel toured Germany while performing with the Robitshek Dance Ensemble. Rachel has spent over 10 years teaching across the state of Virginia for the Academy of Ballet, Hampton Roads Civic Ballet, Todd Rosenlieb Dance, Chamber Ballet, and Virginia Regional Ballet.
Rachel co-produced several ballet productions including Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, and the Nutcracker as Assistant Chairman and Assistant Artistic Director of Hampton Roads Civic Ballet. Roles include Dying Swan from Carnival of the Animals, Swanhilda from Coppelia, Don Quixote, and Klara, Snow Queen, and Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker.
