Tap: Designed to develop rhythm, style, and sound. Students will learn a variety of styles from Broadway to rhythm tap. You will develop proper tap technique, clear sounds, and have tons of fun! As students progress steps become more intricate.
Jazz: .Jazz involves learning to leap, turn and move with style that is encompassed by an understanding of correct technique. Students will have the opportunity to express their individuality in this fun, upbeat class.
Lyrical: A fusion of ballet and jazz dance techniques. Lyrical dance challenges dancers to use motion to interpret music and express emotion. A lyrical dancer's movements attempt to show the meaning of the music. This is a very passionate and emotional dance style. It portrays emotions, and tells a story through every movement made.
Funky Friends: Intro to hip hop basics. Great class to keep kids moving. Focus on musicality and basic up-beat footwork.
Hip-Hop: One of the most popular and familiar forms of stylized American Dance. Television and movies utilize the free, rhythmic and fun tones of this style of dancing. In these classes we teach stylized technique along with popular hip-hop moves. It also gives the dancer knowledge in coordination, physical strength and promotes self-confidence.
Combo: And hour class divided into 30 min of ballet and 30 min of tap. Designed to enhance creative movement, direction following, and ability to imitate movement. Filled with gross motor skills development games in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. In addition, your child will begin to learn correct dance terminology.
TSDA Lip Sync: Introduces students to dance forms found in musical productions. Incorporates elements of jazz, ballet, soft shoe, and lip sync in a fun filled environment. Class will help develop performance skills and stage presence to make students shine on stage.
Leaps and Turns: Leaping and turning is an important component in every dancer's repertoire. This kind of class was created for the determined dancer who wishes to give extra attention to improving their technique. This class will focus on the proper execution and will include leap combinations and turn sequences.
POUND: If you've dreamed of channeling your inner rock star into a fitness plan, it's time to POUND. Created by two female drummers, the POUND workout fuses cardio interval training with drumming to provide a challenging, heart-pumping workout.
ZUMBA® : A fusion of Latin and International music / dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO." The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.
Adults Only: This is the perfect class for anyone 18+ who may have no prior dancing experience but looking for a class to improve basic dance skills while feeling energized and accomplished.
